Multi-racial Congregation
There is so much racial tension in the US today, why don’t the churches do something about it?
What does the Text say?
If you share this vision, come and see us.
- Many studies have shown that the most segregated hour of the week is on Sunday mornings when people voluntarily separate themselves by race. It is time to breach the wall that separates the races. SEC is different and is intentionally working to bring the races together.
- In our small congregation, we already have blacks and whites, Asians (from both India and Korea), and Hispanics. We want to continue to broaden our racial diversity and see what it will be like when all tribes and nations meet at the Throne.
What does the Text say?
- After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
- and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" (Rev 7:9-10 NKJ)
If you share this vision, come and see us.
